Fumo Danqing Art Painting Shenzhou Fuzhou Story Image Creation Workshop Call for Campers
2021 is a special year. For the country, it is the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China and the first year of building a modern socialist country; for Fuzhou, it is the 1,000th anniversary of the birth of Wang Anshi. Fuzhou is an ancient county in Jiangyou, where celebrities such as Wang Anshi, Zeng Gong, Lu Xiangshan, and Tang Xianzu were born. It is a pilot city for the realization of the value of national ecological products. It has a profound historical heritage and beautiful ecological scenery.
01. Activity background
The "Fumo Danqing Art Painting Shenzhou" Fuzhou Story Image Creation Workshop will take the elements of Fuzhou culture as the object of creation, spread the regional characteristics of Fuzhou traditional culture through creative videos, and showcase the unique charm of traditional Chinese aesthetics. The way to show the world the creative communication achievements of Fuzhou culture, let Chinese traditional aesthetics be known and loved by more people through new forms of expression, and promote the innovation and transformation of Chinese culture.
02. Call for objects
Young people (18-35 years old) who love image art creation and have certain foundation and skills in image creation; the workshop accepts both group participation (2-4 people) and individual participation.
03. Activity content
The workshop lasts for one week. The finalists will be gathered to report in Fuzhou, and the organizer will arrange for the finalists to conduct surveys in various counties and districts of Fuzhou. The organizer will provide a certain amount of funding for the finalists.
The selected candidates will be created on the spot in Fuzhou under the professional guidance of creative instructors to complete a short video of no less than 20 minutes. What I saw, heard, thought, and insight after gathering in Fuzhou was integrated into the image creation.
The specific forms of the video works are not limited, including documentaries, feature films, series of short videos, etc. The subject matter can be Fuzhou’s red culture, natural scenery, celebrity past, customs, and traditional culture.
After the selected works have been submitted within the specified time and passed the expert review, they will participate in the video exhibition organized by the organizer.
04. Activity process
1. Submission of works (April 6-April 20)
The registration group or individual will send their own representative works (or web disk link) and registration form to the designated mailbox before the registration deadline; the organizer will select the submitted materials, determine the shortlist, and notify the finalists, registration time and The workshop activity instructions are sent to the finalists.
The finalists will arrange a week to gather and create in Fuzhou from May 1st to June 1st. Submit the final work before June 15th. The video works should revolve around the theme of this workshop, ingeniously conceived, creative and have high aesthetic value and artistic value. The work should be accompanied by Chinese and English subtitles.
Work file format: name or group-school-work name
Work specifications: The submission format of the work is H.264 encoding, the code stream is not less than 8M, the MP4 format, and the frame size is not less than 920*1080.
2. Expert review (June 20-June 30)
The organizer will invite well-known experts and scholars in the fields of video production, digital art, and cultural exchanges to form a review committee to be responsible for the review work. The judges conduct professional reviews of the works submitted by the finalists, and select outstanding works from them. Excellent works will receive further guidance from creative instructors, upgrade their creations, and finally participate in video screenings. There will be 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and several excellence awards. The bonus will be announced separately.
3. Result announcement (early July)
The organizer will announce the award-winning results of the final works on the relevant website, and conduct online video displays of all submitted works.
